We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff were helpful and charming, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was comfortable, light, and large, with a great view overlooking the square. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb, and we were impressed with the facilities available. The location was perfect, as we were able to easily walk to all the retail stores and major attractions in this city. we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant and found it convenient to have the Metro close by. The breakfast was really good and the staff was attentive to our needs.
It was all superb.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city center, making it convenient to walk everywhere and explore all the wonderful restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable stay. The staff offers top-notch service, ensuring that every need is taken care of. The breakfast buffet is excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. Additionally, the hotel features a stunning swimming pool, saunas, and a gym, providing guests with fantastic facilities to enjoy during their stay.
The only downside was the swimming pool being a bit cold, which made it uncomfortable for swimming.

Ancient 5 star hotel. We had an excellent stay. This is 3rd time at hotel. Breakfast is fantastic, the best we have tried at a hotel actually.
Staff skills does not live up to expectations, it seems some are not hotelschool educated, except from the kitchen chefs. Breakfast is fantastic and social areas in hotel are royal. Rooms are very nice and spacy but needs a brush-up (Hotel will be renovated soon). Spa is nice, but also needs a refreshment. After renovation I believe hotel can live up to all these expectations (together with higher service skills on staff)

Excellent Stay, Great Location and friendly people
I had an excellent stay at this hotel and the location couldn't have been better. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my visit. The limo service for pick up and drop off was a smart idea and made my travel experience much smoother. I was lucky to be upgraded to a Superior Junior room with a beautiful balcony and view of the square in front of me and Nyhavn. The room was nice, although a little dark. On my second stay, I was upgraded to a one-bedroom room with lots of natural light and a bigger bathroom with a bathtub. The hotel's restaurant, Marchal, was a highlight with delicious food for both dinner and breakfast. The Balthazar bar in the evening was also quite nice. The gym had everything I needed for a quick workout. The hotel's central location meant that everything was within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city. I highly recommend this hotel for an amazing experience in Copenhagen.
